DoomReady does not collect your data. There is no analytics, no advertising, no behavioral tracking and no third-party software development kit in the app. Nobody working on DoomReady can see what you enter.

Where your information is kept

Everything you enter is stored on your device, in DoomReady's own storage, and is included in your own device backups. There are no accounts and there is no DoomReady server. The one exception is the family plan. If you choose to share it, the plan's names, places, phone numbers and notes are stored in your iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit and shared with the people you invite, who can see and edit them. A plan someone shares with you is kept in their iCloud account. If you stop sharing from iCloud's sharing screen, the people you invited lose access, and the plan's copy stays in your own iCloud account, where only you can see it, until you tap "Delete all data". The needs you choose in Settings, such as daily medicines or a powered medical device, are never part of the family plan and are never shared.

What is stored

DoomReady keeps your household (how many adults, children and pets, the kind of home, your city and any needs you choose), your units, the supplies you have and their expiry dates, your own items, your shelter spot, your family plan, the dates of practice drills, a shelter mode session if you start one, your reminder choices and your map settings.

It reads your location only when you tap "Set home to where I am now" on the map. It takes one reading, saves it on your device as your home on the map and uses it for nothing else. Without it, the center of your chosen city stands in for home. DoomReady doesn't read your contacts, photos or camera.

Ask DoomReady answers with Apple's on-device model, so your questions aren't sent anywhere and aren't saved with your plan. Reminders are scheduled on your device, and nothing is sent from a server. The street map comes from Apple Maps, which loads the area on screen from Apple the way any map in an app does. Links to sources in the guide open in your browser.

DoomReady is made for adults planning for their household. It has no accounts and no content made for children.

Payment

Purchases are handled by Apple. DoomReady never sees your payment details. The app uses verified purchase records to check Pro access, and those records are kept on your device.

Deleting everything

Settings in DoomReady has a "Delete all data" control that removes your household, supplies, shelter spot, family plan and everything else DoomReady keeps on this device, cancels its reminders and starts setup again. If you shared the family plan, it also deletes the plan from your iCloud account and the people you invited lose access, so do it while you're online. A plan someone else shared with you stays in their iCloud account until they delete it or remove you. Deleting the app also removes its local data, but it leaves a shared family plan in iCloud, so tap "Delete all data" first. Copies in device backups you made earlier stay in those backups.
